During 2013/14 MSRA has developed a programme of Accredited Interviewer Training with the objective of improving the quality of Market Research Data Collection in Kenya.

This programme has been developed with the support of the GfK Verein and it is also partially supported by DEG with funds from the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

As a part of the Training programme Interviewers have to conduct real interviews, which are assessed as part of the accreditation process.

The report: Security Issues in Nairobi gives the findings of the data collection exercise. The report was presented at the June MSRA Conference.

Although the sample is not a random representative sample, and therefore the results can only be used as illustrative, nevertheless, we feel they are interesting, and therefore make them available.
